Cynthia Lin

Cynthia Lin grew up with Chicago blues and Jersey hair bands, but somehow found herself where she belongs – in DC, the home of jazz and swing. With classical voice and piano training in tow, she embraces the interpretive quality of jazz (read: she loves to scat!) and brings jazz stylings into her original folk music as well. She has performed in venues as varied as the Basement in Sydney, Australia, to the Greenbrier in West Virginia, to DC’s own Bohemian Caverns.
