With a powerful and melodic voice and truly passionate songs, Chrissy Coughlin's following is quickly multiplying She captivates audiences with her emotional performances and people are clearly responding to the quality of her lyrics. Her voice will remind you of a cross between Joni Mitchell, Rickie Lee Jones and Natalie Merchant.

A trained vocalist, Chrissy has fronted bands in college at Brown University and in San Francisco. Later, she learned the guitar to take more ownership of her musical style. The result is her self-produced debut CD, You Never Know, which has generated praise from the local music community using terms like "grace, intelligence and style". Please welcome Chrissy Coughlin upon her first appearance at Rappahannock Coffee.
